I'd agree. Personally I've only ever interacted with captive wolves, and their interest level in people tends to vary from slight curiousity to being completely oblivious. Yet from what I understand about wolf behaviour (which admittedly isn't perfect), it's extremely rare for non-captive wolves to act aggressively towards people, even when they're on their territory. And whilst I think it's quite likely wolves do act curiously around people (the couple that built a house within a non-socialised wolf enclosure springs to mind), there's quite a bit of difference between that slow, steady introduction and outright putting a wolf into a crowd of people and hoping they don't panic too much.

Of course, it is entirely possible that my experience with/regarding people is unrelated to therianthropy, but I figured it an interesting connection all the same :)
