This writing sings very true to me, and you use such evocative imagery!

I am not wolf, nor a pack animal really - except in my humanness, of course. Yet I can relate. The people I call heart-family are essential to me, and I am happiest when I have several of my Family close by. It's going to be hard to move because I will be leaving some of my closest heart-family; I'll only be bringing a couple people with me, and while that's some consolation... it still feels like I'm ripping out pieces of myself and leaving them behind.
