My brother has owned several different hamsters, and I just ignored them for the most part, but besides trying to catch them with my hands (not so much a prey thing as it is... I just want to catch them.) I didn't have much to do with them.

No prey drive for my bunny, and I didn't think I was very protective, but recently some cousins of mine had their dog by (a kelpie-thing, herding dog love!), and she was obsessed with my rabbit. And it drove me nuts... kept trying to get her away from my rabbit.
