Any writing about therianthropy/one's experience of animality is fine, it doesn't have to 'show a point'. :)
I don't feel that social situations bring out my animality, but being therian makes it more (sometimes painfully) obvious how different I appear to be from most. It's the mixture of non-conventional gender ID, intellectual giftedness, therianthropy and synaesthesia; I don't feel that I comprehend people and the world around me in what appears to be conventional ways.
