It's been too long since I've posted a writing here (though granted, I've barely produced any therianthropy writings since November last year).  A couple of weeks ago I tried a new approach to my writing because I felt the thoughts I wanted to express wouldn't have been delivered as well as I wanted in my typical way of writing, thus I went with a type of 'poetic prose' in a style different from what I've tried before.  Although the format might seem somewhat odd, I like how it turned out overall and though it didn't capture entirely the 'essence', per se, of what I sought to capture in it, the finished piece did capture a satisfying amount of it.

I could have sworn I posted this here when I wrote it, but apparently not! So, here it is. It ought to have been longer, and perhaps one day I'll add more to it, but if not, oh well.

This is indeed a long essay, although that being because of how comprehensive it is of my horse therianthropy; yet, it still does not cover everything regarding Horse, and I didn't intend it to.  I hope to eventually write two more comprehensive essays like this, one for my cat side, and one for my canid side also; but for now, this is what I do have and even with its extensive length, I feel I expressed all that I wanted to say before writing it.

Some of you know me, but most probably don't, so I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Chaos, an often-times self-doubting therian of unknown felinity possibly hybridized with an ungulate of some sort. I've gone through some doubting and questioning periods lately regarding my therianthropy, but I wrote this essay to gather up my feelings on the subject and posted it in my LJ a few weeks ago. It actually helped me remember why I thought I was what I think I am in the first place and put me back on track. I was contemplating whether or not to join and post this for a few weeks, but I decided that it would be interesting to hear input from others not on my friends' list.
